My name actually is Ted. Ted Pappas, 73 years on earth, planning on 25 more. Married, two children, 3 grandchildren. I live in NW Pennsylvania outside a small town and I am surrounded by woods and water.
I spent several decades as a weekend muskie hunter but decided last year that I should try to fish for as many different species of fish in as many different ways as I can, hopefully in new places as well as old favorites. I have been an amateur rod builder since the early 1980’s and still turn a rod on a regular basis. Keeps the arthritis in my fingers at bay.
I enjoy being outdoors, fishing, traditional archery, fishing, baseball, hiking, fishing, reading, learning, rod building, May, October, friends and family. Did I say fishing?
Now retired, most of my working career was in public education. I have a doctorate in Public School Administration and Leadership, which in spite of its cost, has not improved my fishing experiences in any way and alas, hasn’t even made me any smarter than the next person.
